Second batch of Hannukah Loaves. The spirulina was a much better color but did make the dough behave strangely. Gave it a stretchy sticky texture which made it quite hard to work with. Overall quite happy with this first ever attempt at marble lamination!

Honing my baguette skills with a big Saturday bake. Dough made with fresh milled einkorn and bread flour. Right ones are seeded with flax, poppy, sunflower, and h**p shells. Really happy with these results!!

Meet my starters. Aba on the left is gluten-free and he is being fed for a big day tomorrow, and Ima on the right is wheat-based and she is getting ready for today’s bake! Gonna be a good one! Making 50/50s and 100% Whole Grains loaves with an organic variety of Hard Red Spring Wheat called Joaquin Oro grown at Fat Uncle Farms.

Let us know which type you want, how big and how many. Regular 1lb loaves are $10, Large 1.5lb loaves are $12.50, and Huge 2lb Loaves are $15. They’ll be ready for pickup this evening from 5-6pm in front of Tierra Mia Coffee on Whittier Blvd and Hacienda Rd.
