Good morning,
We have all been concerned about the current heat levels in the area. With an abundance of caution, the decision was made yesterday afternoon to cancel the Pewee Valley Farmers Market.

Please be safe, remember the symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Some of the symptoms include: heavy sweating, cool or clammy skin, fast/weak pulse, dizziness & headache, nausea.

It was a great night at Yew Dell last night! Thanks to everyone who came out! It was terrific to see you.

Today Pierce Baking Co is prepping for a private event and won't be on the front lawn this morning. We will miss seeing you today and hope you have a terrific weekend!

We're here at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens for the Friday Night Farmers Market! Had a terrific friend show up and help for a bit. Huge thank you to her! Almost sold out tonight, still a few items left. Come on out, it's a great night.

Howdy!

Hope you are doing well today. As happens, time gets away from us. We will be at the Pewee Valley Farmers Market tomorrow evening. I do have a new recipe for gluten free cinnamon rolls, so wander on over, visit with all our great vendors and let's catch up!

PSA: We will not be on the lawn Saturday morning due to work commitments. I will miss seeing you and hearing what you have been up to this past week.

I will continue to bake after the farmers market season closes and will take orders via text for pickups including during the holidays. Once I have the schedule nailed down, it will be on the website. See you soon!

Well Howdy!

How are YOU doing today? Things are fine here in the corner of 4th and Jefferson in La Grange!

Today I have fresh hot peach cobblers right out of the oven along with chocolate brownies and pineapple upside down cookies. Fresh lemon blueberry bread and cranberry bread are on the table as well.

It's sure been a busy week. Schedules adjusted for the start of school, hot days AND nights, storms- and that's just since Monday!!

With that said, come on out to the Pewee Valley Farmers Market tonight where you can stroll and relax for a bit, see old friends, make new friends, and find treasures under every tent!
I'm bringing some gluten free cinnamon rolls as well as apple fritter cake as we look forward toward Fall.

Come on out and visit.

Just a note- I will continue to bake after the farmers market season ends- with breads, cookies, coffee cakes and other treats for holiday tables and gift giving!

My CTO (chief tasting officer) is out front today manning the little blue tent at 4th and Jefferson in LaGrange. Thanks to him for all his help!!!
