In case you've been wondering why we weren't at the Pewee Valley Farmers Market last night, there's an excellent reason! Our first grandbaby was born on Wednesday evening, and "Nana Jo" has been just a little bit busy!

If you're out and about next Saturday, October 24, please come see us at the Bark N Whine at the Morgan Community Center in Bedford, KY. We'll be there from Noon until 5PM.

In the meantime, if you have a hankering for some fine baked goods, drop us a message. Jo can usually have special orders ready within two business days. (Half dozen minimum for most, but not all items).

Howdy, sent an order of pumpkin cookies out the door today. Somebody's gonna have a yummy day!

How are YOU doing on this rainy evening? If you have loved ones down south, we hope they are safe and secure as the weather rolled through!

We are sticking close to home right now, so I'm prepping 20lbs of fresh cranberries to bake up a new recipe or two. Who knows what this can turn into. Perhaps a test run on a jam recipe?

Take care, stay safe, and enjoy your evening.

Howdy and good morning to you! Most Farmers Markets are coming to an end for the season. Pierce Baking Company will be at the Pewee Valley Farmers Market this coming Thursday, October 8th as we begin our wind down. Lots of great products available!

It's been a wonderful experience to meet so many great people - both marketeers and shoppers. I appreciate the open welcoming environment, sense of community, support, and feedback I have experienced at the Pewee Valley Farmers Market this year. A huge THANK YOU to all the folks involved in organizing and keeping the market on a steady course!

I will continue to bake and sell from our little blue pop up tent as weather permits AND I do take orders via the website for gifts and parties. Please feel free to reach out!

Come on by and visit!
Jo

Howdy, I ran out of brown sugar today, fortunately at the end of my baking for TONIGHT at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens.

If you haven't heard, they put on a great night complete with food trucks, meaningful beverages for grown ups, and a wonderful group of marketeers in the pavilion down the hill. Did I mention it's free to enter Yew Dell tonight? Nothing better than strolling through beautiful grounds with a great sense of community!

Pierce Baking Company will be there tonight with lots of baked goods including some gluten free offerings. So, come on out, meet friends, have fun and support your local marketeers!

I missed seeing you at the Pewee Valley Farmers Market this afternoon? Better to be safe than experience heat stroke!

I put the afternoon to good use and mixed up a batch of Pumpkin Cookies with brown sugar and Cinnamon to bring to market in the near future.

See you soon!
