With the rise of AI and how difficult it sometimes can be to tell the difference between real & "fake," please know that 100% of Cowboy David's Bakery photos are from real cakes that we created with real ingredients with our real hands in our real baking studio.
We encourage all folks out there to be careful with who you hire! Is the baking studio, florist, artist, etc. a licensed operation? Can you see real live examples of their work or just a few photos? How long have they been in business and are they affiliated with any professional organizations?
Here is a really good example: The first cake on the left is a really good AI generated photo where the background is out-of-focus but because of being able to describe really well to the AI program what we wanted it gave us a very lifelike buttercream cake. OFTENTIMES, that super out-of-focus background is a telltale sign (noting that really great photographers can sometimes have the ability to blur the background with expertise and good cameras.) The photo on the right is what we created. So very, very close to perfection but the closer you look, the more you can see tiny little imperfections; the things that show you a cake is REAL.
When ordering anything from a "creative" know what they are actually capable of and if they are trying to lead you to believe that their AI generated photos are their actual work. Be safe out there & don't get scammed!
