I’ve always used unbleached flour for my sourdough, but I recently switched to non-enriched flour as well — and I’m loving it!

Non-enriched flour retains the natural nutrients from the whole grain kernel — fiber, vitamins, and minerals — unlike refined flours that lose the bran and germ. That fiber supports digestion and overall health, and I’ve found my sourdough benefits too: better fermentation and a more natural flavor.

Sometimes going back to basics really is the best way forward. 🥖💛

Life has been full of beautiful changes lately — our family welcomed a new little bundle of joy, and my sourdough starter’s been quietly waiting for me to return. I’m so happy to say the wait is over! Fresh loaves are rising again, and I can’t wait to share that fresh-baked goodness with you all. Thank you for your patience and support — message me to reserve yours.❤️🍞
