🍬 Help Our Residents Hand Out Halloween Treats! 🎃

The Sprout Daycare kids will be visiting Bethany St. Joseph Care Center again this year for a special Halloween visit on Friday, October 30th!

We are collecting Halloween candy bag donations so residents can join in the fun and hand out treats to our little visitors. We greatly appreciated the generosity of our community last year and are thankful for your continued support!

🍬 Candy donations can be dropped off at the Recreation Therapy Office or the Front Desk at BSJ Care Center.

Thank you for helping make this a fun Halloween celebration for our residents and the Sprout kids! 👻

🍂🍁Oktoberfest Royalty & Grenadiers visit Bethany St. Joseph Care Center!🍂🍁

Bethany St. Joseph Care Center was excited to welcome the Oktoberfest Royal Family, Grenadiers, Parade Marshals, and members of the Oktoberfest Board for a special visit! We were also joined by several past Fest Masters, including Steven, one of our residents and a former Fest Master!

Thank you to the Oktoberfest Royal Family for spending time with our residents and helping us celebrate the spirit of Oktoberfest!

🎉 Congratulations, Carol, on 20 Years of Volunteer Service! 🎉

We are proud to celebrate Carol, a member of the Variety Singers, for being recognized by Seniors RISE, Inc through the 2026 Governor’s Service Awards for 20 years of volunteer service!

Carol was presented with her recognition at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center, where the Variety Singers have been sharing their time and talents with our residents since 1983. The group also visits Onalaska Care Center each month to provide music and entertainment during birthday celebrations.

Congratulations, Carol, on your 20 years of dedicated volunteer service and for helping bring music and joy to our residents! ❤️ Such a well-deserved recognition.

Residents celebrated the start of the NFL season with a Packers tailgate party Friday afternoon. Hopefully they turn it around for week 2. Go pack go!💚💛🏈

Western Technical College staff and faculty participated in a Western Service Day on Tuesday by spending a couple hours with residents in the afternoon. They enjoyed playing dice games, card games and even tried some drumming exercise! Thank you to the Western staff for all the smiles and laughs!

September is National Rehabilitation Awareness Month, a time to recognize the incredible impact rehabilitation professionals have on helping individuals regain strength, confidence, and independence.

In this video, hear from Sally Sullivan, an Iverson Freking Honoree in 2012, as she shares her experience with physical therapy at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center in La Crosse. Sally’s story is a wonderful example of how compassionate care, dedicated therapy, and a supportive team can make a difference every step of the way.

A big thank you to The Rhythm Playboys for coming out for a polka party! Residents also enjoyed some delicious ice cream from The Pearl Ice Cream Parlor & Confectionery. Fun was had by all🎶🍨
