Best friends since kindergarten. Guyer High School graduates. And now, three different paths as they head off to college— bittersweet and exciting all at once.

I’ve known Debbie for more than 20 years, ever since she taught one of my boys in elementary school. She has always been one of the sweetest and most thoughtful people I know. Over the years, I’ve been honored to create cookies for several of her special occasions— this set celebrating the birthdays of both of her amazing parents.

That’s the beauty of custom cookies! They can be anything you imagine or everything that makes someone special. They can tell a story that’s uniquely theirs, rather than simply celebrating a birthday.

I’m currently taking a temporary break while recovering from thumb surgery due to severe arthritis. If all goes well, I hope to begin accepting custom orders again in August. Until then, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite sets from the past, and I look forward to creating sweet memories with you again soon.

It was such an honor to create these cookies for the Longhorn Alumni Band as they celebrate this year’s graduating seniors. Congratulations to all of the University of Texas Longhorn Band Seniors on this incredible accomplishment and the memories you’ve made marching with the pride and tradition of Texas! 🧡 🤍
