Hi friends!
Many of you have asked if I will resume my cake business back at home since Clancy Creations has closed.

The answer doesn't come easy for me at all, but no, I do not plan on resuming my cake business at home.

I plan on taking some time for myself and even more time for my family. I'm really blessed to have a husband who supports me (fine... he puts up with me 😝) and is okay with me taking that time. My daughter will be starting high school this next school year and my son will be in 7th! Plus, our adult kids have given us 2 handsome grandsons and the most adorable granddaughter that we love to spend time with!

I would be lying if I said I wasn't going to miss it. I am going to miss it! Making custom cakes, cupcakes, cake balls and cake pops for you all has brought me so much joy! Seeing your faces light up when you first see your cakes, the pics you send of your kiddos with their cakes and all their friends, getting to see all the work you put into the party decor, the thank you messages and cards... forming relationships that have stemmed from this business! This is what kept me going and what I loved most about the business!

I am keeping my page alive and may post from time to time. If I get to a point where I decide I'd like to resume the business side of it, I will certainly let everyone know. 🥰 I will also make a post of local cakers that you may like to reach out to for your future events.

I just really want to say Thank You for supporting my small business over the last 7 years! It wouldn't have grown like it did without all the love and support from my family, friends and community! I appreciate you!

Announcement! It's long, but please read! 🥰

I started my cake business in late 2015 after leaving my career at Micron. It was a tough move, but I was ready for something different!

I've spent the last 6 years building my business, improving my skillset, making mistakes lol, making awesome new friends in the cake and cookie industry, meeting lots of fabulous people through networking with some of them becoming lifelong friends. And my clientele, which started as friends and family who believed in me and encouraged me, who by the way still do and I'm so grateful ❤ to the people who I didn't know, who trusted me enough to provide sweets for the special people in their lives and have become loyal clients who tell me I can never stop doing cakes (you know who you are!). 😘

Along my journey, I met my good friend Karys. We probably wouldn't be friends to this day if she didn't brave coming up to me at an event to introduce herself even though it was apparently scary because of my...excuse the language...RBF (Resting Bitch Face) 🤣. But she did, and we've been building our friendship over the last 3-5 years... don't ask for an actual date, we tried figuring it out but we're too exhausted to think about it anymore! 🤣

Karys has successfully built her business from a home based cookie bakery and is now the owner of the cutest little storefront in Kuna called Clancy Creations. I have been making cakes, cakes balls and other sweets there since the grand opening.

She has built up a team of great ladies and I'm excited to 📢ANNOUNCE📢 that I have accepted a manager position on the team! I actually just finished my first week there! I WILL STILL BE MAKING CAKES, but I am moving my current orders and any future orders to the bakery. 😍
