A little update from the farm: Mom has learned the CANDY MODE on the freeze dryer, and y’all… she is literally a kid in a candy store! Shes taking full advantage of the spooky season candy so we’ll have fun freeze-dried treats for you! 👻

We’ll also have jam, with a deal on the 4 pack gift boxes.
And a few gluten free selections (the new gingerbread crinkle cookies!).

Yes, we got some rain, and everything is a little wet… but the road getting there is just fine! We’ll have things set up so there’s room for parking, so don’t let a little mud keep you home. 😉

🌾 Farmers Market Update! 🌾

We’re going to sit this Thursday’s Crete market out. I didn't return home from my bear hunt in time to properly proof and ferment my sourdough, and I don’t want to rush the process and bring you anything less than the good stuff! ❤️

BUT—we do plan to be at the LAST Thursday market on October 8th! 🎉

If there’s something you’re hoping to grab, send me a message with your preorder so I can make sure I have what you want waiting for you!

When you’re making 150 scones, it’s absolutely worth packing up everything and hauling it over to Mama’s to put her brand-new second kitchen to the test. ❤️

I’m still working on convincing her to officially make it the Late Bloom Farm kitchen. 😉 (The upstairs stays strictly gluten-free!)

I’m so grateful to have cottage bakery registrations at both of our homes. It gives us the flexibility to spread out, try new things, and make a whole lot of goodies.

There’s just something special about making all of this happen in the kitchens of home. 🥰

Tomorrow (Saturday Sept 5th) is Grit & Grace Farm-To-Table Market. I remembered this week!
I won’t be there but my mom Linda will be. I’m sending some freshly baked classic sourdough loaves (seriously, they aren’t in the oven yet and it’s 6pm Friday).
I cleared out the things in my garden that would go to waste while I’m gone and am sending that produce with her tomorrow, along with every last carton of eggs (Going-On-Vaca-Sale $3/doz only at Grit & Grace!).
She’ll have all of our jam, and some in prepackaged gift boxes!
And of course all the freeze dried things you’re used to seeing.
And as always, a sweet little Gluten Free treat made in her gluten-prohibited kitchen- bread and choc chip Scones!
I’ll be back in 2 weeks, and fingers crossed I’ll have a bunch of watermelons to share, including the super awesome Orangeglo watermelons. (Til then, try the jam I made with them!)

Wow. Apparently my mid-40s are hitting me harder than I realized, y’all. 😂

Despite having today’s Grit & Grace Farm-To-Table Market on not one, but TWO calendars, I still completely missed it. 🤦‍♀️

I guess calendars only work if you actually know what day it is. 😂

I am so sorry to anyone who came out expecting their weekly dose of bread! I truly hate that I missed you. ❤️

If there was something you were hoping to get your hands on today, please message me! I’ll find a way to get it to you this week.

I won’t be at the market next week because I’ll be heading out on a cruise with my daughter! 🚢❤️ (Assuming I have the dates right this time… 😂)

But my Mama will be there with her Gluten Free Goodies, our homemade jam, freeze-dried treats, and some bread fresh from my oven.

Ohmygosh…you should probably hurry up and buy them, because I can’t stop snacking on them myself.
