Wow. Apparently my mid-40s are hitting me harder than I realized, y’all. 😂

Despite having today’s Grit & Grace Farm-To-Table Market on not one, but TWO calendars, I still completely missed it. 🤦‍♀️

I guess calendars only work if you actually know what day it is. 😂

I am so sorry to anyone who came out expecting their weekly dose of bread! I truly hate that I missed you. ❤️

If there was something you were hoping to get your hands on today, please message me! I’ll find a way to get it to you this week.

I won’t be at the market next week because I’ll be heading out on a cruise with my daughter! 🚢❤️ (Assuming I have the dates right this time… 😂)

But my Mama will be there with her Gluten Free Goodies, our homemade jam, freeze-dried treats, and some bread fresh from my oven.

It may be a dreary, rainy Saturday morning, but we’re not letting that stop us!

Today you’ll find us at the Grit & Grace Farm-To-Table Market from 8–11 AM.

The mums are starting to bloom, bringing some much-needed color to this gray day. 🌸

And we’ve got the other kind of sunshine covered…

We’ve got plenty of homemade, homegrown goodness with us — fresh bread, jams, garden goodies, freeze-dried treats, cookies, and quail eggs.

Grab your coffee, throw on your rain jacket, and come see us!

Another fun seed I got this year was Orangeglo Watermelon.

I flipped through the Baker Creek seed catalog one too many times this year and apparently decided my garden needed to be a little more FUN. 😂🌱

So… I ended up with some pretty unique produce, and I’m excited to start sharing it with you!

This Thursday at the Crete Nebraska Farmer's Market at Crete Ace Hardware and Saturday at Grit & Grace Farm-To-Table Market we’ll have limited quantities of:

🥒 Longue de Nice Squash — a beautiful French heirloom with rich, sweet, creamy orange flesh when mature.

🎃 North Georgia Candy Roaster Squash — a historic heirloom with a rich, sweet, nutty flavor that gets even better after curing and storage.

And these squash are HUGE! One can easily become several meals, pies, soups, or baked goodies — and both are known for storing well through the winter.

Want to make sure you get one? Message me to reserve yours ahead of time, or stop by the market and see what we have!

We’ve spent the last month fine tuning the seasonings, slicing thickness, and timing of seasoning, and I think we’ve finally got it down.

After a little hiatus due to some planned and unplanned travel, Late Bloom Farm will be back at the market!

Find all your favorites and try our new Zucchini Chips!! These will only be available while zucchini is in season (but are packaged to be shelf stable for 10+ years!) so pick some up before it’s too late!
