I am participating in my first vendor event next Saturday at the Red White & Bloom Makers Market held at the Hardin Valley Event Center. 🥳

💥 But I need YOUR help! 💥

I want to know what you'd like to see there - cinnamon rolls, mini sweet breads, cupcake boxes, mini cupcakes, single slices of cake, mini key lime pies, cookie flight boxes, gluten free options? Whatever you would personally buy at a vendor event, please tell me!! Even if you're not local or don't plan on coming. 😉

Yep, this actually happened to me. It also was my biggest weekend to date, graduation weekend. 🫠

Someone referred me to a local in our neighborhood (referrals are literally the best thing ever for a small business owner 🥰) - in both the post and initial communication, I SWEAR she asked for only 6 red velvet cupcakes.

I was up to my eyeballs in orange and white cupcakes and UT cakes, so I'm certain I was just moving too fast... however, I thought to myself, 'Six cupcakes by Monday, no prob!'

I gave the customer the price, to which she replied, "Is that per dozen or the full total?"
(insert panic on my behalf 😳)

Quickly I scroll through our messages to see she's not asking for a half dozen cupcakes, she needs 6 FULL dozen.
I already had 17 dozen cupcakes to make, frost, and package, along with 3 UT cakes, and one triple chocolate cheesecake that weekend - however, I've always said that if God opens the door, I know I can trust Him for the strength to walk through it.

I finished UT orders by Friday night, worked deliveries & pick ups on Saturday, baked 6 dozen red velvet cupcakes on Sunday, then frosted & packaged up on Monday.
There was no exhaustion. No stress. No chaos.
Because He was the center of it all.
None of it was by my own ability, it was all Him.
It's always Him.

I did learn a valuable lesson in making sure I read every word in a message or post the first time though!! 😂

✨️ The difference a year can make ✨️

It was one year ago that God planted the seed of this sweet, little business; in a space where I could see He was planting it, but I wasn't quite ready yet to step into everything He had for me.

I'm beyond thankful (& sometimes surprised) for the way He's grown me over this past year & the gift He's given me in creating my faith- filled treats.

It's truly just the beginning & I can't wait to see what He does over this next year in my life & with this business, which is ultimately His.
I'm here for whatever it is!!

First on the list are Father's Day & 4th of July pre-sales that will be announced over the next couple of days!!

Pretty sure this is one of my most favorite cakes to date!! A checkerboard cake made with three layers of a sweet and tangy lemon cake & vanilla buttercream. 🧡🤍

Excited to see how many of these I'll get to make for the '26-'27 school year & what flavor combos get put together!!
