If you know anyone who has children who wouldn’t be able to purchase a cake for them or someone you feel deserves it or even yourself! Please message me and let me know their name, the child’s name and age and I will put them in the drawing for my October cake giveaway!

Here is the formuoli!!! Idk why I said “spatula” like Mr. Krabs but I was too deep into the voiceover to care! RED VELVET CAKE-
Preheat oven to 350• F your ingredients will be-
1 cup oil (melted butter, or a neutral oil or both like I did)

1 cup buttermilk (1cup whole milk with 1 tbs vinegar or lemon juice for homemade substitute)

2 eggs

2 cups sugar

2 cups cake flour (all purpose works as well but results may differ slightly than the outcome of mine)

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

2 tsp vanilla extract (not shown)

1/2 cup HOT coffee (instant, brewed, whatever you’ve got it fine)

2 tbs cocoa powder sifted

Red food coloring (as much as you need to get your desired color)

Bake it until a toothpick is clean. Mine bakes for around 40 minutes so just keep watch. If you take it out or move the pan and it sinks it is NOT done!

Hey everybody I have a big change for my business! I wanted to explain it in a video for a few reasons but I hope it finds you well and that you guys will be willing to still stick around with me for the future of my business and the changes that are to come.

Main points of the video-

I WILL NOT BE DOING CUSTOM ORDERS ANYMORE (cakes, cupcakes, treats etc.)

I WILL BE STARTING PRE-ORDER SALES FOR PRE DETERMINED MENUS I WILL POST SEASONALLY OR BI-WEEKLY

I WILL BE POSTING VIDEOS STARTING WITH HOW-TO VIDEOS AND THEN CONTINUING ON TO WHATEVER I FEEL THE NEED TO POST ABOUT.

I am so thankful for the last three years of support and love I have gotten from all of your guys, you guys have definitely made it hard to make this decision for my business but I’m sure there will be more seasons of life for the love grown Bakehouse.

Books are closed through the rest of this year! I’m sorry for the inconvenience to anyone who was excited to order! I will be doing weekly drops for available treats, cookies and cakes soon but am not currently taking any new orders for custom cakes, wedding cakes, treat boxes or cupcakes!! I am available for edible images and cake topper orders. As always, Thank you all for your support!

Okay, so this bride said “I want me cakes to look like they taste good and I want them to ACTUALLY taste good, thanks!” The two of these cakes were probably the two representations of my favorite types of cake! I love a berries and cream moment like this Victorian sponge cake with berries. But every now and then my taste buds want something chocolate like this rich German chocolate cake!
Kinda wish I was invited so I could’ve grabbed a slice of both! 😂 ahhh the possibilities if I were to have another wedding. 🎀

I LOVE this cake! I have honestly been considering recreating it for my birthday because of how cute/funny/cool/custom it is!!!
