For 10 years it has been my joy and privilege to play a part in your special day. Whether it was your birthday, baby shower, retirement, or wedding day – you’ve trusted me to make your cake.

A cake is more than a confectionary treat. It’s a symbol. Cakes are the corner pieces of our celebrations in life. I hope they tasted and looked, just as you imagined. I hope they brought you great joy, because your faithful patronage has brought me abundant joy and allowed me to present in my families lives and yours.

This week I am closing the door on K-town Cakes to open another door. For the last several years it has been my goal to make a difference in the lives of High School students. This week I begin a new career as a High School counselor at Farragut High School. I look forward to investing into the lives and future of our kids.
