Have you ever discovered something and felt in your soul it was what you were supposed to do?Well, I feel like that's what happened to me! I have an artistic background of painting, drawing, sewing, sculpting and I was a hairstylist for many years. While I loved styling hair, I decided the drama, strong fumes, full weekends away from my family and friends and crazy salon life was not for me. I had no direction as to where to go from there, it was all I knew so I felt lost and confused. Later I got engaged and as I started planning my own wedding my friend and I stumbled upon a cake class and I thought maybe I could make my own wedding cake to save some money! in July 2010 my friend and I made my wedding cake..to which our teacher only said, hmmm that's ambitious, when we told her our goal for taking the class, and fast forward to a few years later I am a wife and a mom and so happy now doing what I love and having a creative outlet again! I pour my heart and all my effort into everything I make and I hope that comes through in my work. thank you for taking this journey with me, every cake I get to make is one step closer to my dreams coming true.
