✨There is something beautiful about bread.🥖
Jesus said, *”I am the Bread of Life.”* (John 6:35)
Bread nourishes the body, but Christ nourishes the soul. And this year, I’ve learned just how true that is.
To be honest, this has been one of the hardest seasons our family has ever faced. I lost my job, and not long after, my husband a firefighter suffered a stroke and underwent heart surgery. Since then, I’ve become both his caregiver and the provider for our home.
There were days I didn’t know what tomorrow would look like.
But every time I stepped into my kitchen, mixed flour, water, and salt, and watched a simple loaf come to life, God reminded me that He is still working behind the scenes. Just as sourdough requires patience, faith, and time, so do the seasons God walks us through.
This little bakery has become more than a business. It’s become my place of prayer, healing, and peace. Every loaf I bake carries a reminder that even when life feels broken, God is still providing.
To every single person who has placed an order with ✨Wish Upon a Loaf ✨thank you. You may think you were simply buying bread, but you’ve done so much more. You’ve helped support our family, encouraged my heart, and reminded me that God often answers prayers through the kindness of His people.
If you’re walking through a difficult season, don’t give up. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep taking the next step.
The same God who provides daily bread is the same God who will carry you through today’s battles.
Keep pushing forward.
God’s got you. 🤍🍞
