I haven’t posted much on here lately… with work, family, health, farmers market, etc. I just wanted to come on here with a few things…
First off I want to thank everyone for the continued support with this business. I’ve gained so many new customers recently and since farmers market started back up I’ve since then gained more because of that! I enjoy talking to everyone and getting terrific feedback on how much you all love my desserts and displays and come to find all my stuff (since I’m not a permanent member, I get switched around different spots some weeks) and you all make my day! I do want to say a few things that may help you and I if you are at farmers market any time.
1. If you choose to buy some baked goods and want to know my payment options, I do cash, Venmo, and cash app. I can make exceptions with checks, as long as they’re local. I do not have a way to process cards and I know I’ve had people put things back cause that’s the only form of payment they have handy.
2. If you’re ever looking for a particular dessert and want to ask if I’m able to do it or want to place a special order for it, by all means let me know cause majority of the time I can. Since I work Thursdays and Fridays and those are also my prep days, it makes it difficult to make EVERYTHING I want to make, but if you know you’re coming and want something made for you, feel free to message or call and we can arrange something. I sell out on a lot of things people really want (strawberry rhubarb pie, cinnamon rolls, etc.) or in some cases I don’t have it made but I can definitely try.
3. If you have certain restrictions such as gluten, sugar, dairy, soy, etc. and you would like to see more things that don’t contain those ingredients, let me know and I can make up some special things upon request. I’ve been selling out a lot on gluten free and sugar free products this season and I definitely want something for everyone, everyone deserves a treat!
4. If you’re placing an order for a cake or pie or anything, we can also meet at the market and I can bring them with me and put away so they don’t get sold. With the exception of items that require refrigeration, I prefer to keep them at home and meet for those at a different time (before or after the market). Most people are gracious enough to accommodate my schedule with the market and meet there to get their orders and I appreciate it.
5. I also wanted to point out that if you don’t go to the market and wondered if there’s any leftover desserts that didn’t sell, keep an eye out on facebook cause I will try and post the desserts that are left and I can get them to you same day!
That’s just a few things I wanted to mention and I hope it helps many of you out. I look forward to serving more of you with homemade goodies!
