THIS FRIDAY, Midtown Kingston is trying something new! We’re stoked to be a part of the first Midtown Scene Summer Fridays celebration, slated for every First Friday in June, July, and August.

We’ll be open past our normal 3 pm bedtime, serving falafel and loaded fries and chicken shawarma — plus drinks and sweets — from 4 to 8 pm. Also on Field Court, our neighbors Rot + Fallow will be open with a special night market; West Kill Supply will be pouring delicious beers and hosting Diego’s Taqueria; Radio Kingston will be playing tunes; Rewind Kingston will be hosting pickleball and chalk art; and you can enter a raffle to win a gift basket full of prizes from a bunch of midtown businesses!

Please note: We got a little slammed the last time we did falafel night, so this time we’re going to give priority to the folks visiting us in person — so we likely will NOT be taking phone or online orders for the evening. Come have a drink, visit our neighbors, and make a night of it, won’t you?

We turned our Black and Whites Orange and Blue this weekend to celebrate our beloved . grew up in NYC in the Ewing/Starks era and could not be more elated for the epic run this season. We have dreams of one of the boys pulling through but in the meantime, we’ll be happy to be part of the energy. Limited quantities. GO NY GO NY GO

Spring In Full Swing!

Hey friends! We're a few weeks into Farmers Market season now, and we're having a blast out there. If you haven't come out to see us on Saturdays in Uptown Kingston yet, you can find us in the county courthouse parking lot from 9 to 1 tomorrow: We've got lots of bread and pastries, PLUS our pop-up grill for making delicious egg sandwiches, bagels with cream cheese and lox, and more.

You can also find us this season at Rhinebeck on Sundays from 10 to 2, or Woodstock on Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 7. And of course, there's always our Broadway restaurant and Barbarossa bakery locations, as well.

This weekend we've got that delicious "Garlic Bread" Bread, the return of our Einkorn Ancient Grain boule, and a new loaf we just launched a few weeks ago: The Whole-Wheat Maple Pan Loaf, a hearty sourdough sandwich bread made with 100% whole grains from our friends down the road at Milestone Mill and topped with quinoa for a little added crunch.

Both of these special breads are available at Broadway and at Barbarossa, now throughout the weekend or until sold out. More options below and on our website, or visit us in person for the full selection.

Pretty Good at Drinking Birria

I wasn’t born for making big bowls
I’m not made for selling donut holes
I ain’t cut for just buttering rolls
But I’m pretty good at drinking Birria

Was inspired to do a take of my current favorite meal in town The Birria consommé from . This time with our corned beef ends, a lot of chilis and tomato, stock, cooked for an entire day. Then we soak a semolina sub and add some fresh green sauce, some crunch from some radishes … you got yourself a really tasty treat. Here til we run out!

This year you can once again find Kingston Bread at THREE local farmers markets: Kingston on Saturdays 9 to 1, Rhinebeck on Sundays 10 to 2, and now Woodstock on Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 7 pm. Not to mention all of the glorious farmstands and shops that sell our bread and pastries throughout the week in Ulster and Dutchess counties.
