Hey there friends and fam! Haven’t posted much since the accident, so I am here to give y’all an update! After taking a long break this fall to recuperate, work on our house and get through the fall wedding season, I’ve decided to sit Christmas out and come back for Valentine’s Day orders in 2023. It’s been a tremendous gift to be able to serve my friends and neighbors and I’m grateful for your continued support! We would love to sugar y’all up again next year! Hi folks - just popping in to let y’all know I’m going to be taking a break from baking for a bit. My husband and I were in a car accident Friday afternoon and were taken from the scene by ambulance. We were diagnosed with pretty bad concussions and ordered to rest for a while. Unfortunately that means no treats for a few weeks as I can’t legally drive to get supplies or make deliveries. So sorry for the inconvenience. I know so many of you look forward to the weekly drop at Turnbull - hopefully I can get back to the oven soon! Until then…. “Be Sweet, Y’all!”

I typically don’t do custom order cakes - simply because I run two other businesses and the demand can outweigh my ability to set aside the time to fill all of the orders. However, last week my bestie asked me to help her celebrate her fiancé, Alex and I couldn’t pass it up.

Alex Shernit is one of the best people I know. He is a solid friend, a killer guitar player, an amazing realtor and an even better dude. I’m so excited that Kelsey asked me to whip up this Oreo cake for his birthday, (even though there were no candles allowed, haha.) We love you and the future Mrs. Shernit to the moon! Happy Birthday, Senior! Hope you enjoyed it 🤘🏼

Our Story

Formerly located in the Factory @ Franklin as Embry Confectionery, De.Li.CiOuS Nashville now serves as a home-based bakery in Belle Meade, TN. We specialize in artisan cake pops & chocolates and every now and then when we are feeling brave, cakes and cupcakes : ) Each piece of gourmet goodness is artfully prepared by hand by owner and chocolatier, DeAnna Roman. We are not fancy, we are not a factory, our products are not cookie cutter... We make every batch from scratch and strive to use only the best organic and local ingredients. We do not believe in GMO, food dyes, artificial fats or sugars or brand products. We support our local fruit markets, farms and dairies and source our ingredients per order. If you want Oreo, we make the Oreos... you want peach cobbler, we go to the Farmers' Market and buy fresh, organically grown peaches. If you want hot pink pops, we reduce raspberry juice to make the colorant. We are here to kick the " healthy = yucky" myth to the curb one yummy treat at a time! That's just our opinion, though.
