It was my pleasure and privilege to design, bake and decorate this Butter Vanilla BIRTHDAY CAKE , for this amazing lady. I’ve known NANCY DILLOW for years (as a matter of fact I did all three of her daughters Wedding Cakes). Delivered the cake to Sullivan Baptist Church, where family and friends celebrated Nancy’s 80th Birthday.

Well there is always a first for everything. After 44 years of doing cakes, 35 of those years specializing in Wedding Cakes I did my first all black (on the outside) Wedding Cake accented with burgundy and peach handmade edible flowers. WHAT A CHALLENGE... Loved it!

I delivered this Wedding Cake to MeadowView Cattails Ballroom on October 26,2019 for Jaime Bass ( now Smythe). 3 different flavors of cake within 4 tiers...Butter Almond Cake with Strawberry filling, Apricot Cake with Apricot filling and Butter Almond Cake with Blackberry filling.

Did this sweet “The Hunt Is Over” Wedding Cake for Samuel Johnson & Ashley Crawford ( now Mr. & Mrs.) Saturday, August 31,2019. Each tier had 2 layers of Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Buttercream as a filling and 2 layers of Butter Vanilla Cake with Butter Vanilla Buttercream as a filling.

Had the pleasure of creating Wendy Jones and Andrew Maupin’s, ( now Mr. & Mrs Maupin) Wedding cake and Grooms Cake. Top tier and bottom tier of the wedding cake was Italian Cream Cake with cream cheese filling, middle tier was Butter Vanilla Cake. The Grooms Cake was Chocolate-Peanut Butter marble Cake with peanut butter cream and chocolate ganache filling. June2, 2018, Delivering to Watauga River Lodge. We ( my husband Darell and I ) stayed for the festivities. Wendy, a former student of Darell’s was a beautiful bride. Their ceremony & and reception was so sweet. Congratulations Andrew and Wendy!
