When I first started Lolli & Pop’s I was ALL about the cookies. Like… obsessive. 😂🍪
I still remember making one of my very first batches of chocolate chip cookies and carefully rolling every.single.dough.ball. like I was auditioning for the Food Network or something. Then I baked them up, poured a little glass of milk beside them, snapped a picture, and thought:
“WOW Lolli… look at you. Professional bakery queen.” 👑🥛🍪
Then somebody commented:
“AI chocolate chip cookies lol.”
BABYYYYYY. 😐🤣
Now listen…this particular individual enjoys stirring the pot on local pages and at the time I chose peace because we all know Lolli is a lover, not a fighter. ✌️😂 But whewwww I was HOT. I thought to myself:
“One day I’m gonna show y’all the difference between rolled cookies and scooped cookies.”
AND TODAY IS THAT DAY. 👏
🍪 Cookie on the LEFT:
Scooped. Rustic. Homemade vibes. Slightly chaotic. Thick and delicious.
🍪 Cookie on the RIGHT:
Rolled. Polished. Pretty. Also delicious.
Here’s the thing people…
When you’re baking HUNDREDS of cookies some weeks, rolling every dough ball starts feeling like a personal attack. 😂 I simply do not have the time anymore. Lolli has evolved into scoop, slap, bake, repeat. 💪🍪
So no…they aren’t AI cookies.
They’re just made by an exhausted woman running on caffeine, butter, and pure determination. 😌☕🧈
And honestly?
Both styles taste amazing because homemade cookies don’t need perfection to be incredible. ❤️
