📌 Important Update for My Customers

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported my business this year. Your orders, kind words, recommendations, and continued trust have meant so much.

After careful consideration, I have decided that I will no longer be accepting any new orders for the remainder of the year. This time will be used to regroup, refocus, and make improvements behind the scenes so that I can continue providing quality products and an amazing experience for my customers.

I believe in running my business with integrity, honesty, and transparency. Before anything is taken out of context or shared inaccurately, I want to address a recent situation involving a custom cake order.

This is not a post to bash or embarrass anyone. As a small business owner, it is important for me to share my side with professionalism and clarity, especially when my work and reputation are questioned.

A recent customer expressed dissatisfaction with their order. Until now, I have never received negative feedback on any of my cakes, so this situation was new for me. I listened to their concerns, reviewed everything carefully, and handled the matter ethically and respectfully.

I want to make a few things clear:

• The cake was cold and in perfect condition at the time of delivery.
• The requested strawberries were included in the cake.
• The frosting used was Italian meringue buttercream, not Cool Whip.
• I have shown in previous videos that I always use Italian meringue buttercream and even demonstrated how I make it.
• As a gesture of goodwill, I provided a $30 refund. This was not because I did anything incorrectly, but because I value peace and professionalism.

While I stand by the quality of my product, this was a learning experience. Moving forward, I will be recording more of my baking and decorating process for documentation and customer reassurance. This will help prevent situations where someone claims something was not done correctly when it was.

I am sharing screenshots of the conversation and the photos I received strictly for transparency. This is not to create drama, but to ensure the truth is presented accurately before any false narrative is presented publicly.

Cake Care & Handling Instructions

To ensure your cake stays fresh, beautiful, and photo-ready, please follow these care guidelines after pickup or delivery:

📍 Transporting Your Cake
• Always place your cake on a flat surface (floorboard of your vehicle is best).
• Avoid placing cakes on seats or holding them in your lap.
• Drive slowly, especially around turns and bumps, to prevent shifting or sliding.

❄️ Storage
• Buttercream cakes: Refrigerate until 1–2 hours before serving.
• Fondant cakes: Store in a cool room; avoid the fridge if possible to prevent sweating.
• Cakes with fresh fruit, whipped toppings, or cream cheese frosting: Keep refrigerated until serving.

🔥 Heat & Outdoor Events
• Cakes should be kept in cool, air-conditioned environments only.
• Heat, humidity, and sunlight can cause melting or structural damage.
• For outdoor events, keep the cake indoors until it’s time for photos or cutting.

📸 Before Pictures or Display
• Remove from the fridge and allow to sit at room temperature for 30–60 minutes so the frosting softens.
• Keep the cake in the box until ready to set up for photos.

🧁 Leftovers
• Store leftovers in an airtight container.
• Refrigerate for up to 3–5 days or freeze for up to 2 months for best freshness.
