In my unbothered era. Do you think singing to my dough makes it taste better? 😂🎶🍞💕

This summer has truly been so special. Being able to bake for my community while having the flexibility to really be present with my kids means everything to me.

My definition of success has definitely changed over the years, and I’m sure it will change again. But right now it looks like this and I’m exactly where I want to be 🥹💕🍞

Baked lots of goodies this month! Loaves, cookies, cinnamon rolls, crackers, oh my! The theme was definitely BAGELS…I’ve been working on my recipe, shaping, proofing, and figuring out how to incorporate making them into my workflow. I think August may be their debut month 🤗 I’ll share deets of my next pop up soon! What was your favorite baked by Jess item this month? What are you hoping to see in August?

Taking a moment to appreciate my classic beauties!

A little over a year ago, Baked by Jess began in my kitchen and slowly took over my dining room and front living room with folding tables. I had a vision for what this business could become, but I couldn’t quite picture how it would all come together.

Then I met Camellia 🥰

What started as a conversation about creating a dedicated baking space became so much more. She took every idea I had, every Pinterest screenshot, every “what if…” and somehow transformed it into a space that feels more beautiful, more functional, and more ME than I ever could have imagined.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered. Not just for where Baked by Jess is today, but for where it might grow tomorrow.

This space represents a new chapter for my business, and I’ll spend countless hours here creating, baking, teaching, gathering, and dreaming. The fact that I get to do all of that in a space that brings me so much joy is truly the greatest gift.

Thank you, Camellia, for seeing the vision even when I couldn’t fully articulate it myself. Thank you for believing in this dream, elevating it beyond anything I imagined, and creating a space that feels like home.
