Santé and Matilda Paielli began serving Kenosha on 22nd Avenue with five employees. They later relocated to 52nd Street. The family business continued to grow and in 1956 they moved to their present location on 39th Avenue. This state-of-the-art facility has progressed through three extensive expansions to serve Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois. Our products are used in restaurants, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, caterers, sub and deli shops, bars and grills, grocers and for special events. When their parents retired, the two sons, Dominic and Dino, continued to operate the bakery. In 1993, Dominic retired and Dino, along with his two sons, Mark and David, continue to operate the bakery. Over the last few years the fourth generation has begun to work with Dino, Mark, and David. Approximately 65 employees help in the production, delivering, and selling of the numerous products Paielli’s offers. The bakery offers a wide variety of products: sweet rolls, cakes, pies, kringle, desserts, too many different types of bread and rolls. With our modern production capabilities the bakery produces around 7,000 loaves of bread seven days a week and 3,500 loaves of bread seven nights a week. Paielli’s maintains and services a fleet of ten vehicles in daily distribution of our products. We pride ourselves in our ability to achieve large-scale product output, yet maintain exceptional quality. We hope you enjoy your visit to Paielli’s Bakery.

He grew up in the bakery and has spent his entire life working hard, showing up, and doing things the right way. Even at 94, he still comes to work every day — a true example of dedication, integrity, and a work ethic that never seems to slow down.

He is humble, generous, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand. To so many people, he isn’t just the boss or the baker — he’s someone they can count on.

In honor of Dino Paielli’s 94th birthday this Thursday, September 17th, we will have cyclops for $.94, Paielli Baker boy cut-out cookies, and real egg custard eclairs! Dino, the man himself, will be visiting in the store on Thursday from 11 AM to 1 PM if you would like to drop by and wish him a happy birthday!
