We had a great turnout at last weekends German Christmas market. We get to meet and talk to so many wonderful new and returning customers, it makes for such a wonderful day!

We are in high gear filling Etsy orders. Remember you can always ask for deferred shipping for your gifts sending. We have some exciting new tins we’ll be listing this week filled with Lebkuchen.

Our next & final market will be December 14 at the Beekeepers Cafe annual Christmas market in their amazing new location.

It is messages like this that absolutely brighten my day and make the 6 day work weeks and 12-14 hour days (baking gingerbread and maintaining a full time regular job) during this time of year. I am elated every time A customer tells me that my Lebkuchen is better than any they’ve had stateside or in Germany, I’m not sure how to explain it other than… a sense of accomplishment? Setting out to do something and accomplishing it.
I’ve never been one to accept anything other than perfection in the goals I pursue & thats not always a good thing, It makes failure that much harder.

We had a wonderful time at the ML Freunde German Christmas market yesterday! The market runs from 12-6 and last year we sold out by 2:30. This year this market was a little earlier (pre thanksgiving) I baked a lot of inventory so that we would last the duration of the market, which we did. However we didn’t have a 100% sell through and have about 7 of these gift boxes left, they have 4X 90mm Lebkuchen.
Ready to ship Monday.

Can you smell this picture? Fresh ground 9 spice blend or “Lebkuchengewürz” for my next round of baking. Remember I sell this in our Etsy store. No need to go to your local supermarket and spend a small fortune for small jars of spices you won’t all of and have to replace them next year. Here is 70 grams, enough for about 7 dozen Lebkuchen.
Wanna stretch it? Request it without cinnamon (which everyone has in the cupboard!)
