Well y’all… September has arrived, which means we’re officially entering pie season, market season, and “how is it already Thanksgiving?” season. 😂🍂🥧

Here’s where you can find Sweetie Pies this month! We’ve got a few Saturdays at the Burleson Farmers Market, a little Friday night market, and then I’ll be over at the State Fair of Texas doing my very important job of tasting delicious food for judging purposes. Somebody’s gotta do it. 😉

Come see me, say hey, grab yourself a pie (or two), and enjoy a little bit of fall with us!

And before we know it… it’ll be time to talk Thanksgiving pies. 😳

I cannot thank y’all enough for continuing to show up and support this little pie business of mine. Y’all keep me in the kitchen, covered in flour, and wondering why I thought making 47 different things was a good idea.

The new sign came just in time! Look for it this morning at the Burleson Farmers Market! We are in our usual spot with some new flavors and seasonings. Stop by for a slice or two!

Also, a BIG shoutout to Created by Maggie for being the best merch lady around! 🥰

She makes my shirts (and this newest one is officially my FAVORITE!), cups, towels, all of my vinyl signs for the homestead (coming soon!), AND she took my logo and gave it a little upgrade. Y’all… the attention to detail is unmatched!

She’s located in Terrell, and yes… I will gladly drive over an hour to still use her as my go-to. She is THAT good.

BUT… just because she’s in Terrell doesn’t mean you have to be! She ships too!

If you need custom shirts, cups, signs, or just about anything merch, school, quinceañera, baby shower related, go give Maggie some love. You won’t regret it! 🫶

Y’all… I may have created a little problem. 😂

Meet Cosmic Crunch… chewy, crispy, chocolatey little bites of pure childhood nostalgia.

You know the ones I’m talking about. 👀 I just gave ’em the homemade Sweetie Pies treatment and good grief… they’re GOOD.

I’d tell you to save some for the kids, but I’m not getting involved in that family argument.

Well bless it…we know it’s only August but, Thanksgiving will be here before we know it.

Which means it’s about time your local pie lady starts thinking about all those holiday tables that are gonna need a little something sweet on them.

Because let’s be honest… you’ve already got enough going on. Nobody needs to be making pie crust at midnight while somebody’s asking where the turkey thermometer is.

Let me handle dessert. You just show up, eat, and take the compliments. I won’t tell.

Okay but LOOK at this beauty.

Blueberry Lemon Streusel Loaf… packed with blueberries, bright lemon, buttery streusel and a sweet lemon glaze. And yes…that middle slice is as ridiculously soft as it looks.

This is one of those things where you intend to have one little slice with your coffee and suddenly you’re standing in the kitchen eating the crumbs off the cutting board.

We had it at market this past weekend and folks gave raving reviews! I think this one deserves a permanent spot in the Sweetie Pies lineup. What do y’all think?
