Since going back to school, I haven't done any baking, but I needed to bake this cake for my dad for his birthday today.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

Vanilla cake with chocolate chips, vanilla butter cream with cookie crunbles, and two big chocolate chip cookies on top. Drizzled with a chocolate ganache.

It has been so busy here at the bakery. Since September, I have been non-stop baking and I am so thankful and blessed to be able to do what I do.

I have a wee minute to be able to post what I have done over the last three months before the Christmas rush really begins.

Two dozen blueberry streusel muffins, one dozen paleo brownies, one dozen paleo chocolate chip cookies and one apple fritter bread sent out the door today to SC, VA, and MA.

Good productive day today. Now, I can focus on a very late June cupcake flavor. LOL. Which I honestly can't wait to showcase.

Thank goodness for cooler weather. Two cupcakes of the month and chocolate chip banana bread going out today.

Four out yesterday, and two out today. The heat is playing havoc with the icing, making it soft. Who ordered this heat so early?

Should this happen, just put in fridge for about an hour and the icing will firm right back up.
