If you’ve been to Heirloom anytime in the last year, you’ve probably seen the wreath that our dear friend has installed. With each seasonal turn she adds to our wreath, using flowers, Heirloom specific items, bones, dead insects(found this one at Heirloom!), cookies and meaningful pieces to us.

Wreath days are truly magical and beautiful days. I think about the distance traveled since the last turn of the wheel (both in what we’ve accomplished as an individual and a team but also in the faces we’ve seen come and go and the stories and identities behind those people that have come through the doors)

Yesterday, Dani did a turn for the Spring Equinox and our wreath has officially surpassed a year!🍃🌱 In the busy hustle, bustle & exhausting grind of working in a restaurant it’s often easy to forget to appreciate time and growth but our wreath hangs as a reminder of those changes and how quickly we come full circle to another year.

It takes a village to run a restaurant six days a week and so naturally, it takes that same village a few extra months to have our staff holiday party! We celebrated last night with food, laughter and lots of bowling. Shout-out to Brock’s sweater & a brief sleet storm for making it a festive holiday evening 💕😎
