♥️🌹 Red Velvet Cake | Gluten/Dairy Free 🌹♥️

I recently had the pleasure of baking an anniversary cake for my friend Katie and her family. It was a 2 layer GF/DF red velvet cake with vegan cream cheese frosting. I may or may not have taste tested along the way…I couldn’t help it. It was so good!

Petal & Crumb’s goal is to bake something for everyone. Whether someone has a food allergy, diet restriction, specific food philosophy, or just an aversion to coconut (looking at you, Mom)–whatever the request, I will try my very best to make it happen. And if I can’t, I definitely know who can and will gladly point you in their direction. I believe everyone deserves something special so let me help make that happen 🤗

🍎🥧 Apple Pie Cupcakes 🥧🍎

It’s apple picking season! So of course I’ve got just the dessert for you 🤗 These Apple Pie Cupcakes 🧁 are a cozy fall spice cake filled with real apple pie filling, topped with a cinnamon buttercream and sprinkled with sea salt. Basically the comfort of homemade apple pie, all wrapped up in a perfect little cupcake. I mean…c’mon. 🤤

So I say treat yourself, you deserve it. These have also been a personal hit at my own family Thanksgiving get togethers so why not make them a part of yours?

🍁🍪 Maple Pecan Shortbread Cookies 🍪🍁

Friends, hear me out. Give pumpkin spice a breather for a second because you need to try these! Sweet, nutty, buttery, crunchy, salty…these shortbread cookies are all about cozy fall flavors! Each one is mixed with maple-roasted pecan bits for a delightful crunch and topped with a sweet maple glaze and candied pecans.

🧡 AND For those who are a little more adventurous and crave more of the sweet and savory, I have an option to add maple-candied bacon pieces on top!

🍓🍋 Hey friends! July is already proving its point with this heat, especially later this week 🥵.

Plan ahead and order some refreshing desserts from my “Strawberry Lemonade Stand”! Whether it’s for a pool day or just to enjoy at your desk for a midday treat! 🧑‍🔬 Also, scientists have proven that they are also great for those cooler(ish) evenings on the porch after dinner while watching fireflies. Whatever excuse you need, I’ve got you. And I know it’s hot, but be kind to others and wear your bug spray! 💕🍰

-Strawberry Lemonade Blondies: lemon based blondies with diced strawberries and a pink lemonade glaze
-Vegan Strawberry Lemonade Cake: Made especially for my neighbor Tracey, this is a tender vanilla cake with a lemon kick with strawberries throughout. Topped with a pink lemonade frosting. All vegan!
-Pink Lemonade Sugar Cookies: lemon sugar cookies topped with a strawberry buttercream frosting and a fresh strawberry slice 🍓

☀️ Dear readers, I am absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for all of the support & love since starting this venture! 💕 Thanks to all who have placed orders, shared my posts and have followed along so far. It has been so much fun! 🌴 Summer has begun and before I start baking like a mad lady, I’m taking a couple of weeks for some R&R (you should do the same!) so the tiny kitchen will be closed. Still feel free to submit orders/requests/questions in the meantime and don’t forget, wear sunscreen and drink your water.
