We've been up to some fun things lately! And have something even more exciting to come this December with our friends at Made Mobb. It's so fun to collaborate with people who love the city as much as we do. This is truly celebrating the community right here.

Drafted from creativity in the Crossroads, a hand-sketched character inspired by Kansas City’s rising national profile (and the familiar personalities behind it) is now finding fans on and off the field … well, lawn.

John always starts with a sketch then redraws on his computer to digitize his design. This one will have easter eggs in the final design just like last years! This year will be a little more fun with Taylor Swift references!

It’s available now for preorder. We are printing on Monday but orders must be in by Wednesday to make sure you receive them by the Super Bowl!

And yes….that is a Hy-Vee receipt he drew his original concept on!

Join us on Saturday, September 2nd, 5 pm - 7 pm in the lot at HITIDES Coffee (after the vendors break down) for a very special, traditional Polynesian dance performance by Kona Winds, with styles representing four island communities - Samoa, Hawaii, Tahiti, and New Zealand, including fire dancing! Nika Eats will be serving up island-inspired specialties too.

We are super excited to host, up and coming Columbia Records NY/Sony Music Nashville recording artist ! Alana is in Kansas City playing her show at UMKC tomorrow evening (Tuesday 10/25). As part of the “Country on Campus Tour” AND being huge coffee lover, she’s gonna surf on by HITIDES and hangout at 3pm! So come by, grab a drink and hangout and get to know her! 🌊☕️

As a special tribute to her visit, all day tomorrow we’ll be serving Alana’s favorite caffeinated beverage “The Sandbridge Latte” w/ the friend/family 20% discount!
