So I mentioned back in our early quarantine days/stay-at-home orders, I was starting to experiment with sourdough. Well... we have found some muffins we like and can use the discard you get when you feed your sourdough each day.
These are banana-zucchini and they are delicious! Are you trying any new recipes?

During quarantine, I started a sourdough starter from scratch. The The Prairie Homestead had some great instructions and tips. It sounded easy and I thought I’d give it a try. Y’all, it worked! I have been using it ever since!
Found this sourdough brownie recipe for discard (you have to feed your sourdough everyday unless you pause it in the fridge for a while), and you have to discard before you feed it. Go check her out! She’s got easy steps to follow.

Happy PIE day! It’s a math joke because today is March 14th (3/14 = 3.14). These are the most commonly used numbers to replace the pi symbol used in math problems. Here’s an idea- try something different today. Make something savory, or unusual. The photo below is a piecaken (it has a pie cooked inside).
