It’s been awhile since I’ve added pumpkin chocolate chip donuts to the bakers rack at The Kalona Coffee House! GREAT NEWS! IF you’ve been craving them OR never tried them you will have that chance tomorrow morning! The Kalona Library Foundation will have them to purchase at their booth at the farmers market in downtown Kalona! Your chance to enjoy the first pumpkin chocolate chip donuts this season AND contribute to our local library!! ❤️❤️

10 years of doing one of the things I love in life! BAKING for The Kalona Coffee House!

Fun Fact! When Rhonda asked me if I could make scones, I had NEVER made one! However my daughter, Bobbie (maker of best soy candles EVER, Poured Soy Candle Co.) had made them and was willing to share with me one of her recipes! Through trial, error, lots of family taste testing and tossing in the garbage I’ve come up with some of your favorites! People often tell me they have a much different texture and not your typical scone!

Every day options include cranberry orange, blueberry with lemon glaze, raspberry white chocolate, and cinnamon scones. Seasonal favorites include strawberry rhubarb, pumpkin chocolate chip and chocolate peppermint!
