its the best Mama a girl could have birthday today...so made cupcakes woth some of her favorites....vanilla java porter chocolate cupcake, dipped in chocolate ganache and pretzel bits, with a caramel buttercream topped with ganache drizzle, glitter candies, gold star sprinkles and a ganache dipped pretzel coated in sugar sprinkles.

Now that the birthday girl has seen it I can post it...My mama turned 50 so I created my own cake version of one her favorite candy bars...coconut cream cake with a hint of almond, dipped in dark chocolate ganache and topped with chocolate almond buttercream. (The cake also had a chocolate mousse and dark chocolate ganache filling)

Tried some new recipes yet again...a new strawberry cupcake recipe with fresh chopped strawberries and vanilla whipped buttercream. I will most definitely be using that whipped buttercream again!
