🤍 Update Post! 🤍
I have some new packaging for 2-packs and will be experimenting with smaller packs so more people can try my cinnamon rolls without having to spend $20 upfront! 💯
I will also be making cinnamon roll “cakes” 👀, test baking new flavors, and will be available for special events as well 😍 lots of fun new things coming!
I also wanted to explain a little about my pricing, because it’s something I put a lot of thought into.
When I adjusted my prices, it wasn’t random. I sat down and calculated my ingredient costs, packaging, stickers, bakeware, and the time that goes into making each batch. I truly care about making a product that people love, and I’ve worked incredibly hard to create the recipe I use today.
I’ve upgraded several ingredients over time and tested organic options as much as possible. Trust me, if I made everything organic, the price would be much higher than it is now! 😅 Instead, I chose to keep the ingredients that genuinely improved the quality of my rolls and skip the ones that didn’t make a noticeable difference.
My rolls also take significantly more time than traditional cinnamon rolls. I use a tangzhong method for extra softness, and my sweet, stiff sourdough starter ferments for a full day before I even begin mixing dough. Every batch is a labor of love, and there’s a lot more involved than simply mixing commercial yeast into a dough and baking it.
One thing I want everyone to know is that my discounts on 6-packs and 12-packs aren’t about trying to push bigger orders. Larger packs actually use less packaging and take less time to package individually, which helps me keep costs down. It also allows me to focus on serving my repeat customers and building relationships with the people who support my small business.
Going forward, all rolls will be the same size - and they’re BIG! My goal is to offer a cinnamon roll that’s worth every penny while keeping my business sustainable and enjoyable. I want this to stay something I love doing, even if that means occasionally staying up until 2 a.m. rolling dough. 🤣🫶
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, shared my posts, ordered from me, and cheered me on. It means more than you know, and I’m so excited to keep baking for this community. 🥹
