We have partnered with shop local greater Kalamazoo and chamber choice awards😊

Grab yours makers box today 🤍 make sure to grab a treat from us 💕

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Shop Local Greater Kalamazoo Makers Boxes happen!

Instead of the usual conference swag, attendees got to take home something a little more meaningful, products made by local businesses right here in the Greater Kalamazoo community.

We love seeing shopping local become part of experiences like this. It’s a simple way to introduce people to local makers, creators and small businesses while showing just how easy it is to shop local.

A huge thank you to the Southwest Michigan First Chamber, the The City of Kalamazoo, The City of Portage, and our Makers Box sponsor, Kabundant, for helping bring this idea to life. We’re excited to continue finding ways to make local shopping part of more community experiences!

And, of course, thank you to the amazing local businesses who filled these boxes with their products:

🕯️ BKH Candle
🌿 Cynfully Simple Blends
🍪 DoughChicks
🧼 Forever Clean Soap Works, Inc
👹 Goblin Boss Trading Company
🎨 James & Colors
🍴 Just One More Bite Co.
🍬 Papa’s Brittle
🍭 Soak’n Sweets
🍿 Pop City Popcorn
✨ Opulent Blends
🌱 The Wellnessed Boutique
🐾 Wholesome Canine Cookie Company

We’re so grateful you shared your products and helped showcase what makes our local business community so special.

And remember, you don’t have to wait for a conference to shop local! Shop Local Greater Kalamazoo makes it easy to discover and support local businesses all year long.

Plus, there’s still time to shop the Chamber’s Choice promotion!

Get 15% off your Shop Local Greater Kalamazoo order with code CHAMBERSCHOICE2026 through October 8.

Shop local. Discover something new. And keep your dollars in our community.

Some cakes mean a little more than others. 🤍

Over 10 years ago, Madi was one of the little cheerleaders I had the privilege of mentoring—and now she is a whole married woman! 😭 Getting to create her wedding cake and be part of such a special day was truly a full-circle moment for me.

Madi , you were an absolutely beautiful bride, and it meant more than you know that you trusted me with such an important part of your day. Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Hammonds! Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love and happiness. 🤍✨
