Good morning
The bakery is open today and I do have lots of yummy desserts.
I have gotten a few messages wondering why I being closing the bakery or I am opening it late.
I had a tooth pulled yesterday so I had to take the day off.
I am the only person that works and bakes for this bakery so if I have a doctors appointment unfortunately I have to close down for it.
I have rheumatoid arthritis so sometimes I have to get seen more then usual and sometimes my body just does not want to coaporate with me.
I do try my best to keep up with the bakery and take any order that comes my way even the last minute orders but there is times I have to take a day off or close down to go get seen.
This year feels like I have had more appointments then usual but hopefully they will start slowing down soon.
I know there are rumors that I am selling the bakery and that is not true at all either.
I love my bakery and I love what I do.
I also being told everything I sell is too expensive and people cannot afford anything here.
My cupcakes are $5.50 each
My cheesecakes for the big size are $31.50
My croissants, bread pastries etc are less then $9 dollars each.
None of my stuff come frozen from another company, I don’t make extras and freeze them, cakes are based on orders so they are freshly made the day the cake is do.
I do not use fake or bag eggs, I use real eggs, I don’t use cheap products and I put a lot of time into everything I make and it is all made by me here in the bakery as you all can see when you walk in as I have an open kitchen.
There is a difference between a grocery store bakery and a bakery!
I actually loose out on money making sure anyone can afford what I make. As many of you know I donate a lot of desserts and I do give away many desserts to the homeless or people that need help.
So I do not believe my pricing is to high I actually being told by other businesses owners I am under paying my self.

Having a business is tricky as we can’t ever please everyone and people forget we are human too and even tho we own a business we have medical problems, we also get sick and we also have personal issues as well.
