🤎🍞 A LITTLE SLICE OF BLISS UPDATE! 🍞🤎

We know you’re waiting… and trust us, we are too! 🥹

We’re still busy behind the scenes getting our little shed ready to become A Little Slice of Bliss! We’re waiting on a few things to be delivered, putting in the windows and a new door, and working on getting the tin finished on the outside. Little by little, it’s all coming together! 🌿🏡

Right now, it’s looking like we’re about 2–3 more weeks away from opening our doors! 🎉

Was that the original plan? Definitely not. 😂 We had hoped to be open sooner, but we’ve decided we’d rather take a little extra time and make sure everything is just right so we can give you the best experience possible when you finally get to visit us.

BUT… that doesn’t mean you have to wait 2–3 weeks (hopefully) for the baked goods! 😉🍞🍪

If you’re itching for something homemade, have a craving, need a treat for an event, or just want something delicious right now, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We would still LOVE to bake for you while we’re getting the stand finished. 🤎

🌾🌮 MAKE SURE TO JOIN US TOMORROW! 🌮🌾

Make sure to join the Garfield County Conservation District, Garfield County Montana State University Extension, and Montana Farmers Union tomorrow for Let’s Taco ’Bout Drought Class! 

The event kicks off at 3:00 PM at the VFW Hall in Jordan and will be an afternoon filled with great information, resources, conversation, and learning for our local agricultural producers ….. followed by a delicious taco bar! 🌮🐄🌾

And A Little Slice of Bliss is SO excited to provide dessert for all of the producers attending! 🤎

We’ve been busy in the kitchen making homemade banana bread bars 🍌🍞, and we can’t wait for you to try them!

Come learn something new, enjoy some tacos, visit with fellow producers, and make sure you save room for a little something sweet from A Little Slice of Bliss! 🤎✨

🌿🤎 A LITTLE SLICE OF BLISS — UPDATE!🤎🌿

Things are happening behind the scenes at A Little Slice of Bliss, and we wanted to give you all a little update on where we’re at! 🥹

Our little shed may not look completely different just yet, but there is a whole lot happening to get us one step closer to opening those doors!

⚡ We’re working on getting a meter installed on the power pole so our little stand can officially have electricity!
🪟 New windows and a new door are in the works.
🌿 The sage green tin you all voted for; for the outside is coming together, and we seriously cannot wait to see our vision for the shed finally start taking shape!
🪧 Signs are being made.
🤎 Stickers, packaging, and supplies are being ordered.
🛍️ Products and all those little details that will help fill the stand are starting to arrive.

And, of course… we are STILL in the kitchen! 🍞🥐🍪We’ve been testing recipes, tweaking things, and perfecting everything so that when we open, we can feel good about every homemade item that goes onto our shelves.

And speaking of recipes… 👀
We have a few more goodies to reveal at the end of this week!*😍 Stay tuned because we can’t wait to show you what else we’ve been working on!

There are a million little pieces that go into turning this old shed into A Little Slice of Bliss, and every order placed, recipe perfected, sign made, and project checked off the list makes this dream feel a little more REAL. 🤎

Another BIG step toward making A Little Slice of Bliss a reality! 🥹✨ Our little farm stand shed has officially been set in its new spot!

But we absolutely could not have done it without some pretty amazing people. We want to give the BIGGEST thank you to my dad and my little brothers for all of their help getting the shed picked up, hauled, and set into place. 🤎 Dad & little brothers—- THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We appreciate all the time, work, muscle, equipment, and help you put into getting our little shed HOME! 🥹

Starting a little business like this takes a whole lot more than just one person, and we are constantly reminded how incredibly lucky we are to have family who jumps in, lends a hand, and helps turn our crazy ideas into reality. 😂🤎

Seeing it sitting there makes this dream feel SO much more real. Now comes the fun part; getting it cleaned, painted, decorated, stocked, and ready to welcome all of you! 🌿🍞🥚🌾 We are getting closer every day, and we cannot wait to show you what’s next!

We would LOVE a flyer or poster from your business!

We’re putting together a Community Business Pin Board inside A Little Slice of Bliss, and we want to fill it with all the amazing businesses our little community has to offer! 🤎🌾

With our farm stand located right off the highway, we hope to welcome plenty of people passing through Jordan: we’d love to help point them toward other local businesses while they’re here!

If you own or operate a business in Jordan, bring us a flyer, poster, business card, brochure, menu, or anything else we can pin up! Whether you have a store, restaurant, service, agricultural business, handmade goods, lodging, or anything in between; we want to feature you!

Our hope is that someone may stop at A Little Slice of Bliss for a loaf of bread or a sweet treat and leave knowing about a few more wonderful places to visit and support in Jordan. 🥖🤎

We’ve got another delicious bread coming your way at A Little Slice of Bliss! 🤎

Say hello to our Italian Herb & Cheese Hoagies; soft, homemade hoagie rolls topped with savory Italian herbs and plenty of cheesy goodness. As you can see I used them for meatball subs but the possibilities are endless!

We are having so much fun testing recipes and deciding what goodies will make their way into our little self-serve farm stand! We are getting SO excited to fill those shelves! 🤎✨

This week we’re featuring a classic; homemade white sandwich bread! Soft, fluffy, and made from scratch, this is one of the goodies we’re planning to have available at A Little Slice of Bliss! Whether it’s for morning toast, lunchtime sandwiches, or simply a warm slice with butter, you can’t beat a good homemade loaf. 🥰 We’re getting closer and closer to sharing our homemade creations with you, so stay tuned over the next couple of weeks for more information and some exciting announcements! 🌾👀

🍞✨ Our Sourdough Journey is Beginning! ✨🍞
We are feeling extra grateful today at A Little Slice of Bliss! 🤎

A wonderful community member generously shared some of their sourdough starter with us, and we truly couldn’t be more thankful! There’s something so special about receiving a starter that has already been loved and cared for, for many many many years!!!! Now we get to continue its journey right here in our little kitchen. 🥹🌾

This sweet gift is helping us take our very first steps into the world of sourdough, and we can’t wait to learn, experiment, and will be bringing some delicious homemade sourdough goodies to the farm stand in the future! 🍞🥖

We are continually reminded just how special our little community is. Thank you for supporting A Little Slice of Bliss before our doors are even open and for helping make this dream come to life, one little piece at a time. 🤎
