Sometimes, we go a little off menu.
Look at these beautiful dill pickle and havarti cheese loaves. For those of you here who make their own bread, I sub some water with pickle juice, and I personally prefer dill pickle chips instead of spears, and then some shredded dill-havarti cheese. You could go cheddar too. I bake a little longer because the pickles can make the bread a bit gummy. This with some chicken salad? Sign me up for lunch.

I don't know about anyone else but in this summer heat, I can not eat heavy meals. I've been taking advantage of some fresh baked sourdough baguettes and loaves for roasted pepper and burrata, or sun gold tomato and goat cheese dips. Feel free to reach out if you need bread for your summer feasts!
