If anyone is looking to obtain a red Blazer for the York Rite, I have a 3X... I got it before my accident and I've lost 35 lbs since, so it no longer fits me. And it's NEVER been worn.

Companions,
The moment you have all been waiting for is here. The Grand Chapter and Grand Council are once again putting on The Lost Master's Word.
Please see the flier below for details. You can RSVP here: https://tinyurl.com/lost-word
Please note the following changes in policy for candidate registration:
We will only accept reservations made by the Secretary or Recorder for the York Rite Body(ies) that is sending the candidate(s), self-registration will not be accepted. You do not need to do separate registrations for Chapter and Council, so either one can put in the registration for both degrees. This will reduce the amount of work required in confirming the candidate's status.
Also, we are requiring that a mentor be assigned for each candidate and that they be present throughout the day. You can have a single mentor for multiple candidates and across Chapter/Council. They will be responsible for helping the candidate check-in onsite, and answer any questions they may have.
By re-ordering sections of the Chapter and Council degrees, along with parts of the third degree, we will explore not only how the Master's Word was lost, but also the steps taken to preserve and recover it in true chronological order.
While there have been similar types of presentations in years past, this unique presentation was revived and completely re-written not just last year in this new format. We are bringing it to the northern Illinois area this year in the hopes of promoting many new Companions, so please come enjoy Illinois York Rite camaraderie at its finest.
