Happy National C.N.A Week, which runs from June 11-17 to our amazing Sunny Hill team! Our C.N.As are part of the heartbeat of our community - showing up every day with skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication. You lift spirits, support our residents with dignity, and make Sunny Hill feel like home. The 2026 theme, “We’re Unbelievable” focuses on CNAs not just being essential, but “unbelievable” every single day. They show up when it’s hard, provide comfort when it’s needed most and go above and beyond without expecting recognition. Thank you for everything you do! We appreciate you today and every day!

Wow! A record-breaking turnout and attendance at Sunny Hill Avenues 1, 2 & 3 picnic event, with 142 meals served. Thankfully, the weather conditions were perfect. Grill going, umbrellas up and lots of staff and volunteers on hand to make this a wonderful event for our residents and families. Additional this year was awesome music and song provided by Uke-litis Band and funded by our very own Friends of Sunny Hill. A great big thank you to Friends and indeed to everyone who helped with the preparation, bringing residents to the event, serving and clean up. Also as always thank you to our families for all your ongoing support and participation.

Your organization and calm presence and willingness to jump in whenever needed have made such a difference day to day. You've handled every challenge with grace and always made our work feel a little lighter. We're truly grateful for the support you've provided and the kindness you've shown. Residents enjoying an auction today for National Nursing Home Week. Residents received two hundred dollars monopoly money to spend on bidding to have lunch together with various staff members. Brisk bidding occurred with many residents spending their assigned dollars very quickly. Once the auction finished some beautifully crocheted blankets that were donated were also auctioned and given to residents.
