One of the perks of growing a garden. Fresh jalapeños straight from your own plants that you watched grow. Also always fresh shredded and cubed cheese. No bagged pre-shredded in our breads. Jalapeño cheddar will be in the Bakehouse Saturday morning at 8 am. See you then. 😊🍞💙

💙🍞I’m so happy to be back! 🍞💙After taking the last two weeks off for some family time, I’m excited to get back into the kitchen and have the Bakehouse open again this weekend!

As summer starts to wind down, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU. This summer has been absolutely wonderful, and I’m so grateful for every person who stopped by the Bakehouse, placed a pre-order, shared a post, told a friend, or simply came back each week. I truly appreciate every single order and every familiar face that continues to stop by.🥰

Pre-orders are due Wednesday by 9 AM.

A quick note about Saturday pre-orders: No pickups will be available for Fridays.
For Saturday pickup, I will only be able to take pre-orders for the items listed on this week’s menu. I’m sorry to have to limit it, but Fridays have become such busy baking day that I simply don’t have enough time to mix and prepare additional items outside of the menu.

If there’s something you’d like that isn’t on the menu, I’m more than happy to make it for a different day of the week. Just send me a message and we can get it ordered.

The Bakehouse will be closed this weekend as we soak up and enjoy the last weekend of summer before we head back to school. We will be open and fully stocked on August 29th. Watch for pre-order on Sunday.

We have so many fun things coming up this fall season! We will be out at Happy Time on September 26 for The Fall Festival. Then the following weekend, October 2nd & 3rd in the North Iowa Farm Stand Crawl, which we are participating in. Also in October look for us at Royce’s Brew during Ghouls Day.
I’ve been working on some new and delicious fall sourdough breads and treats, and I can’t wait to share them with all of you. 🍁🍂🎃

If you were able to get any cinnamon rolls this weekend, you might of noticed they had a new topping. I am switching to a new vanilla bean glaze that I came up with. It’s so good and melts perfectly into all the yummy swirls in the cinnamon rolls. If you order any cinnamon rolls and would like the buttercream frosting that was on them before, just let me know and I can still make them that way also.
