We also wanted to give a shoutout to Curtain Call Cafe, who will be opening on Main Street in Johnstown TOMORROW! 🩷☕️

Our cake pops will be available for sale at the cafe, and we are SO excited to welcome another fantastic small business to downtown Johnstown! Supporting and cheering on our fellow small businesses is something we love, and we couldn’t be happier for them!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has continued stopping in today and throughout this entire week despite all of the construction craziness around the bakery. 🩷🩷

I know how easy it would be to pull up, see there’s nowhere to park, see all the equipment and barriers, and think, “Well…forget it.” 😂

As a small business, those little decisions mean SO much more than you probably realize. Every visit, every order, and every person who chooses to support us during a difficult week is noticed and appreciated.

Just a quick heads up: the sidewalk directly next to the bakery is currently being redone, so it is completely blocked off while they work. Please do not walk around the barriers or onto the sidewalk being worked on. It’s blocked off for a reason, and we want everyone to stay safe! 🦺🚧

We are SO excited to see the new sidewalk and the brand new parking lot directly next door when everything is finished! 🎉🅿️

A little appreciation post for Erin! 🩷

I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at the wall Erin has been working on because honestly… look at this brick! 😳😂

This wall was left in extremely rough condition after the building that was attached to ours was demolished. There are so many uneven areas, layers of old mortar, missing mortar, damaged brick, and just generally a LOT for a painter to work around. Needless to say, this has not been the easiest surface to work with!

And somehow, Erin has taken this VERY imperfect wall and started turning it into something beautiful. 🥹❤️

I am seriously so impressed by her patience, creativity, and ability to work with what she has been given. She has already made such a difference, and I cannot wait to see it all come together!

BUT… we’re not quite done yet!

Because of the condition of the brick, we still have a few things to figure out and some problem-solving to do before we can call this project finished. There are definitely some challenges that come with trying to transform a wall like this!

But Erin has been absolutely amazing through all of it, and I am SO grateful that she took on this project. 🥰

Thank you, Erin, for making something beautiful out of a wall that had seen MUCH better days. ❤️

Last week was a difficult one, and I didn’t realize just how much I needed a little time to step away and reset. 🩷

This weekend’s family reunion gave me exactly that. Getting to see cousins I haven’t seen in 20 years was a feeling I honestly can’t even describe. So much laughter, so many memories, and just being surrounded by family was exactly what my heart needed. 🥹

Here’s a little picture of my mom and me while we wait for our big group photo to come back! 😂Feeling refreshed, grateful, and excited for a great week ahead. 🩷
