Yes, we’ve seen the article in the paper stating that we can return to work. However, there has not yet been a final walkthrough or inspection to ensure that the walls, roof, and surrounding structure are safe to occupy.

The safety of my interns, customers, and myself will always come first. Before we reopen, we need confirmation that the building is safe and ready for us to return.

Once that important step has been completed, we’ll be sure to update everyone right away. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work through this process. 🩷

What do you do on your day off when the demolition begins, you have no orders, and you can’t bake?

You head to the best bakery in Saratoga! 🩷

Bear’s Cup has quickly become my new obsession. Their coffee is hands-down some of the best I’ve had, and their pastries? Oh. My. Goodness. 🤤 Everything is homemade, and you can absolutely taste the difference.

As a fellow bakery owner, I have so much appreciation for the care, quality, and hard work that goes into what they do. If you’re ever in Saratoga, do yourself a favor and stop in!

🚧 🚧 ROAD IS NOW CLOSED!! 🚧We will be closed today as preparations begin for the demolition starting tomorrow. Crews will be bringing in equipment and getting everything set up, while we also prepare the bakery for the vibration and construction activity expected over the next several days.

As much as we’d love to be open, we want to make sure everything stays safe and protected during this process. Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we navigate this temporary disruption.

We’ll continue to keep everyone updated throughout the process and can’t wait to get back to baking for you soon! 🩷

The City of Johnstown would like to notify residents of a street closure due to scheduled demolition work.

📍 Road Closure Location:
S. Perry Street from Main Street to Hoosac Street

📅 Closure Begins:
Saturday, May 30, 2026

⏰ Start Time:
7:00 AM

‼️ Updates regarding the reopening of the roadway will be posted as they become available. ‼️

The closure is expected to remain in effect into early next week while demolition operations are completed safely.
