March 29th of last year was when I started my sourdough journey. I told my husband I was going all in or not at all. I wanted to keep baking sourdough but was running out of people to give it to.

That's when Sourdough By Grammy Tammy page started. I poured my heart into every loaf wanting it to be perfect for you all. I'm also not a person who wants attention. I didn't start this to be a social media phenomenon...nope not interested in that at all. I just wanted to make people happy with my baked goods.

My oven issues in December weren't foreseen and definitely was a set back for me. I also watch my 2 grandsons full time Monday thru Friday and they are a handful.

I'm writing to you about all of this because I need a break from it all. I've had some health issues I need to work on and I need time with my grandsons because that time goes by too fast.

Please understand and keep watching my page...who knows I might miss it all and be back. I might have some pop up sales, just not sure right now.

Know that I've enjoyed getting to know some of my regulars and always hoping people enjoyed my items.

Cinnamon sugar
Jalapeño and Cheddar
Jalapeño and Pepperjack

Ordering ahead of time helps me figure out how much dough to make, so I appreciate messaging me to reserve your order.

This weekend I'll have some extra sourdough bread that you can add inclusions to so it's a one-of-a-kind bread for you!

First one is a Rustic loaf. I can either do one full loaf or two half loaves and you can add any of these items:
Cranberries
Raisins
Walnuts
Pine nuts
Pumpkin seeds
Sunflower seeds

Next loaf will be a Blueberry Lemon and the options are either a full loaf or 2 half loaves.

Then I'll have 5 available bagels and you can choose these options:

Look at these sweet half loaves 😍🤩

I started making sourdough bread last year March 29th and fell in love with the process. I love pulling the finished loaves out of the oven and knowing I did that 😍

Modern-day bread has gotten a bad rap...and deservedly so BUT sourdough isn't modern-day bread...it's ancient. It's an old-world process that gives us a fermented loaf, which our gut actually needs.

I believe that every home should have a home-made loaf of sourdough on their counter to have with their meals with real butter.

Those are my deep thoughts this morning and if you ever want a loaf or two or three, all you need to do is message me 👍🏼❤️😃
