Life's been hectic but baking pushes on!

Come see me this Saturday, April 4th, in Abingdon from 10am-4pm. I'll have lots of cookies, brownies and a NEW ITEM....CAKE JARS! I'll also be rolling out my new Loyalty Cards, so get ahead of the game and get your first stamp by coming out and getting a delicious treat this weekend. It's going to be a beautiful day to stroll through a market and support small businesses ❤️

In the meantime, enjoy these throwback shots from my daughter's end of the year dinners. At the end of every school year we have a small, intimate dinner for my daughter, and the theme always includes some of her interests from that year. With the 25/26 school year almost over, plans for this year's dinner will commence soon!

There were certain essential breakfast options growing up in NYC, like the never failing BECSPK on a kaiser roll, iykyk 😉 and the delicious Bagels & Lox 🥯
For a while now I've been wanting to take those classic flavors of bagels and lox and transform them into a new bake.
Well the wait is over! I am pleased to introduce you to this month's savory scone, my new favorite scone (I know I know, I say that about every new scone I make 🤦🏻‍♀️) the SCONES & LOX
The classic flavors of bagels and lox can be found in this buttery, fluffy scone. We're talking everything bagel seasoning, red onion, fresh dill and of course the smoked salmon. Schmear some cream cheese on this baby and top with capers if that's your thing and I promise you'll enjoy every last bite 🤤

March, the month that makes people hopeful for Spring. Bringing warm sunny weather for days, just to rip it all away and hit you with snow and plummeting temperatures! Don't worry my friends, Spring will be here soon! In the meantime, cheer yourself up with a delicious treat from this month's menu. There are some real amazing choices, I honestly don't know how you could choose what to try.

Come blanch some pistachios with me! 💚

Found these random clips from a few months ago. Remember my December menu and those AMAZING Pistachio Chocolate Chunk Cookies??!! 🤤 They were filled with delicious pistachio cream. But before they were transformed into that creamy goodness and baked into the cookies, the pistachios took a trip to the spa. Boiled for just under a minute and then plunged into an ice bath helps loosen the skins. Then rubbed down between a tea towel, the pistachios easily shed that unwanted layer leaving a tender and BRIGHT green nut for a perfect nut paste.
