תמיד אהבתי לאפות. הייתי חושבת על ריח של לחם חם מהתנור מתפשט ברחבי הבית עוד לפני שלשתי את
הבצק, מדמיינת את הטעמים והצבעים של העוגה בעודי בוחרת את המרכיבים. לפעמים עולה בי יצר הרפתקאנות
ואני מנסה מתכונים או שילובים חדשים ולפעמים אני חוזרת למתכונים מוכרים ומנחמים שאף פעם לא איכזבו אותי.
אפייה זו הדרך שלי להביא לעולם שמחה. לראות את המשפחה שלי נהנית מלחם שאפיתי לארוחת הערב, את ההפתעה על פניו של ילד או ילדה כשהם רואים חלום נרקם למציאות בעוגה שנאפתה וקושטה במיוחד בשבילם, את העונג של חברה המנסה עוגייה חדשה ומנסה להבחין בטעמים ובטוב שהכנסתי אליה.
