It's a small business day!
This is how you can support me and all my hard working colleagues!
Unique, Home-Made bakery. We bake your dreams come true. I always loved to bake. I would imagine the tastes and colors of a cake while choosing the ingredients.
I would envision the smell of freshly baked bread spreading around the house even before I started rolling the dough. Sometimes I’ll be adventurous, trying out new recipes or playing with new combinations and sometimes I would return to comforting familiar recipes that never failed me. Baking is my way to bring happiness to the world. Seeing my family enjoy the breads I make for dinner, the surpri
sed face of a child who gets to see a dream come true in the shape of a cake made especially for him or her, the delight of a friend trying out a new cookie puzzled by the goodies (and goodliness) that went inside. For you see, I do much more than bake breads, cakes and cookies. I'm Baking Smiles. Yours, Zehavit

I decided that it's time to get back to it. So workshops up to 10 ppl are available. This was first after many months without in-person workshops (mask off for picture purposes)

Roll, roll, roll...
made 30 sushi rolls, 7 dessert sushi rolls, and 2 XL poke bowls for a party.
Also made our own spicy mayo, wasabi mayo and added some other goodies to noosh on.
I've haven't baked bread for a while. I don't know why... Probably because I was busy with so many things. And last night this came out of my oven.
I love to have a fresh sourdough for breakfast!
Have a great week!!!
Salted toffee and caramel popcorn Sufganiyot!
Though I'm not selling them this holiday, I definitely holding some practice sessions, and developing new flavors to enjoy.
In the holiday spirit I've tried a new recipe. Eggnog Bread with eggnog glaze.
Oh... God! Let it snow....
Dear friends,
This year was crazy and wired for everyone. After many questions and deep thoughts, I've decided that this year I will not be making my famous Sufganiyot.
I know many of you will be disappointed and hopefully next year we will be back to normal.
I wouldn't want to put any of my customers and my family at even a slight of a risk.
I'm working to offer a Zoom session to teach you how to make your own Sufganiyot
Drop your name if you are interested!
Thank you for your understanding and happy holidays!
What a day! My first kids Zoom birthday party to an amazing girl with the coolest friend.
Covid or not nothing stops us to celebrate. Even when you are apart you can be together and share love, fun and experience.
We baked Vegan Ice Cream Bread and Vegan cookies. All are nut free!
After a long time being away from home and work... Some refreshing lime cheese cake.
Baking Smiles is off to visit family and we will be away until September 5th.
Stay happy, stay safe and healthy and most of all.... stay smiling!
Corona days workshops are so challenging!
You want to work but afraid to.
You want to teach but afraid to. You want to make people happy so much... And this is what drives me and motivates me above all fear!!!
Masks for everyone, louder voice, lots of smiling with the eyes, sanitizer everywhere, washing frequently oh.... And lots of alcohol (yes, it helps to 'sanitize' all fear away😜)
Small group, lots of room, and we made it!!! Keeping it safe, healthy and most of all fun, funny and tasty!
Strawberry and cream love.
Just say Yes!!!
Happy 1st Birthday.
Oh... The places you'll go....
1st birthday is so exciting for everyone. Even to the cake baker.
Wish you all the best!
1 year smash cake.
Happy birthday!
Cheesecake with raspberry mousse and fresh berries.
