Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas!
I want to thank everyone that came together and donated to the comfort and joy drive. You all are amazing!!! We were able to give every single resident (115) a pair of socks/slippers, a goodie bag of tissues,chapstick,candy,a stuffed animal, and a blanket!!!
Because of all of you there will be a few more smiles on Christmas day!

We are collecting items for area nursing home residents for Christmas that will bring them comfort or joy.
Items can include blankets, socks with grips, teddy bears, baby dolls, word searches, books, etc.

We will be picking up the items on the 23rd and giving them to residents on Christmas day.

🤶🎅COMFORT AND JOY DRIVE 🤶🎅

Happy holdays everyone!
As the holidays are supposed to be full of joy and spending time with family, some people dont always get that. Residents in nursing homes especially feel lonely and sad. Whether a person's family lives far away and cant visit often, family members have passed, etc.

So it got me thinking. What if we all came together as a community and made some people feel loved and special?!

Im putting together what im going to call the "comfort and joy" Christmas drive.
Collecting blankets, warm fuzzy socks (with grips possibly) teddy bears, baby dolls, really anything that you think would make them comfortable or bring them joy

If anyone would like to donate or allow a drop box at your business please let me know! I will be giving out drop boxes this week and will update the list as I go.
