We have been baking from scratch since 1981 because it is important to us that our customers get the same great quality of baked goods that their grandma used to make. We do it the way our grandmas used to, starting with unbleached flour, fresh eggs and other fine ingredients to build the perfect product. There is a difference, and

🥧 A little look at our very first Apple Pie Workshop!

This was such a fun part of our 35th Anniversary Pie Fest. ❤️

For 35 years, Grandma has made more pies than we could ever begin to count... and Sunday she got to spend the morning showing everyone how to make one of their own.

Everyone started with their dough and apples and got to work — rolling, peeling, mixing and putting together their own apple pie to take home and bake or freeze for later.

And Grandma made her way around the room helping along the way. ❤️

We really didn't know what to expect when we decided to try a pie-making workshop for the first time, but seeing everyone around those tables laughing, learning and making pies together was pretty special.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first class. We hope you had as much fun as we did!

And judging by the pictures and some of the messages we've seen since... I don't think this will be our last one. 😉🥧

Good morning ! It's Market Day...come on out & have a GREAT time this evening! The weather couldn't be any better & always FREE admission/parking
FYI...We have a huge favor to ask all our market patrons...please don't arrive early...start time is 5:30. Our staff & vendors are busy setting up & when folks show up early it creates chaos for everyone. We have specific traffic patterns/parking areas for H/C, bakery & market patrons, our parking attendants are busy with setup until 5:30...so when you show up early you won't know the parking arraignments. Please keep in mind also that there is not a bad parking space. We really appreciate your understanding & patience with this matter!! Look forward to seeing everybody, ENJOY! TY! Folks love it! So, let's talk about it a little. In the same sense that a Boston Cream Pie is not a traditional pie nor is Norwegian Apple although it is baked in a pie tin. It's more like a moist Apple Coffee Cake & is made with or without nuts. Now for the good part... It's $2 off all month long, YES! YES! YES! Now you really need to try it and become a Norwegian Apple Pie Lover yourself! TY!

What a way to celebrate 35 years of Grandma’s Country Oven Bake Shoppe!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out today to celebrate with us. Seeing so many familiar faces, longtime customers, friends and families spending the day with us meant more than we can say.

And apparently... you guys REALLY liked the pie flights. 😂🥧

We definitely learned a few things today! At times our pie line got a little longer than we would have liked, and we even ran out of our flight plates. Thank you so much for being patient with us while we worked to keep everything moving.

This was our very first Pie Fest, and we already have lots of notes for how to make the next one even better!

A huge thank you to all of our vendors, food trucks, beverage vendors and Detention for being part of the day and helping us make it such a fun celebration.

But most of all, thank you for 35 years. ❤️

Whether you've been coming to Grandma’s since the beginning or just discovered us recently, every order, every holiday pie, every birthday cake, every stop into the bakery and every recommendation to a friend has helped keep this little family bakery going for 35 years.

We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than with all of you.
