11 Years. ❤️
For 11 years, Cakes by Skeff has been part of birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, retirements, and so many special moments in our community.
What many people may not realize is that for most of those 11 years, this business has been our family’s primary source of income. Every cake, cookie, and treat order has helped keep the lights on, pay the bills, and provide for our family.
I never imagined when I started this little business that it would become what it has, and I will forever be grateful for the support you’ve shown me over the years.
But if I’m being honest, this is one of the slowest seasons I’ve experienced. Orders have slowed to the point that I’m having to consider finding outside employment and significantly reducing the number of custom orders I’m able to take each week just to make ends meet.
This post isn’t meant to ask for sympathy—just to share the reality of where things are right now. Small businesses survive because of their community, and I wouldn’t have made it this far without mine.
If you’ve ever ordered from me, shared a post, recommended my business, or supported me in any way, thank you. Every order, share, comment, and recommendation truly matters.
If you have an event coming up and need a cake, cookies, or treats, I would love the opportunity to help. And if not, sharing my page with friends and family is completely free and helps more than you know.
Thank you for supporting Cakes by Skeff for the last 11 years. I sincerely hope I’m able to continue serving this community for many more years to come. ❤️
