Hey y’all! I wanted to share a little update on the bakery search. 🩵

Yesterday, we toured a property under renovation in downtown Flomaton, and I truly think it’s going to be beautiful! We’re currently waiting to hear more about the price and speak with the other owner.

This morning, we viewed another property that I also believe has so much potential, although it would need some renovations as well. I spoke with the Town of Flomaton today to find out what would need to be done, and now we’re waiting to hear whether the property can be approved and brought up to code as a bakery.

We’re hopeful that one of these locations will work out! We just have to determine which property makes the most sense financially, can be approved, and can realistically be brought up to code.

Thank you so, so much to everyone who has called, asked around, contacted the chambers in Jay and Flomaton, sent possible locations, or commented with encouragement. I am incredibly thankful for every single one of you, and it means so much to know that y’all are just as excited about this as I am!

Hopefully, if everything falls into place, we’ll have a bakery up and running sometime next year. 🤞🩵 I’ll continue to keep y’all updated as we figure out where our future bakery will call home! 🧁✨

Just feeling this out to see if there would be any interest! 🩵

Would y’all be interested in us offering DTF pressed shirts for a little while?

This would be something I’d do strictly to help fund getting the bakery up and running. All profits from the shirts would go straight toward startup costs for the bakery. Once we’re established, I’ll most likely stop offering shirts altogether.

My thought is to drop a few new designs every week or two and do them pre-order only, while trying to keep the prices as fair as possible.

Turnaround time would be approximately 7–14 days, since I’ll have to order the shirts/transfers and I’ll only be pressing shirts on the weekends.

Pickup options would be:

* Porch pickup
* Saturday 8:30 AM meet (flom)
* Shipping would also be available 📦

I also want to be super clear that I’m not trying to take business away from anyone else who already makes shirts. This is simply another way for me to raise some extra funds to put toward everything it takes to get the bakery opened. 🩵

Super huge thank you to each and every one of you who visited the cart today AND Thursday! 🩵 We only had a handful of cookies left, and I appreciate y’all more than you know!!!

These cart day profits are going toward opening the bakery once we’re able to locate the right building, so every single purchase truly means so much to me. 🥹🩵

Also, thank you for all the sweet notes — they absolutely made my whole day!

I’m not sure yet if there will be a cart next week. I need to get Westin a doctor’s appointment, and I also have to spend a day in Pensacola. I’ll keep y’all posted, but I probably won’t know for sure whether I can do a cart until closer to the end of the week!

I’ll try my best to get to messages tomorrow! 🩵
