The Wildcats season came to an end yesterday. They played their best round of the year (309) which was 10 strokes be**er then sectional but still came up short of advancing to state out of a very tough regional.

Proud of how hard this team worked all season to be playing their best when at mattered the most…. SIAC, Sectional and Regional.

This group of boys represented Jasper and the community well and should be proud of the season they had and cherish the bonds that were made along the way❤️

Castle won the Regional shooting 291. Bloomington South got 2nd with a score of 295. Memorial also advances to state shooting 299.

A big Thank You goes out to team members who weren’t playing in a match this year but always showed up to support their teammates❤️

The team ended the day with meal at Redbones Bar and Grill and swim a at the Ahlbrand’s.

BIG Thank You to Josh and Jacob for all the time and energy you put into this team and made it a great season!

The Wildcats season came to an end today. They shot their best round of the year and 10 strokes better then sectional but came up short advancing to state with a very loaded regional!

Proud of how this team played all year and finished season playing their best golf in the SIAC, sectional and ending with regional.

This team represented JHS and the community so well. Be proud of the season you had!

Castle won the regional with team score of 291. Bloomington South finished 2nd with 295 and Memorial shot 299.

Washington and Boonville shot 305.

The Wildcats survive and advance to regionals next Thursday at Country Oaks!
They shot their best round of the year as a team at 319 but finished runner up to a good Forest Park team!
Loogootee came in 3rd and will also advance with a score of 338.

Cooper Hoffman led the way for the Cats with a score of 75 which was good enough to tie him for 3rd lowest score.

The boys played 36 holes today @ Cypress Hill Course in the Adam Schenk Invite.
It was a long 9 hours on the course for the boys but we saw a lot of smiles and the boys had a good time.

Scores were for both rounds:

Bryce 82 and 86 = 168 total
Charlie 84 and 82 = 166
Cooper 90 and 76 = 166
Kasen 81 and 92 = 173
Landon 94 and 84 = 178

I think they are a little tired and glad the day is over🤪

Next match is Sectional at Sultan’s on Thursday! The Wildcats tee off at 1:00

The CATS had a pretty good day on the course today! They came up just 2 strokes short of finishing runner up in a tough SIAC championship!

They shot a team score of 325. Memorial shot 323 and Castle won the SIAC!

Individual scores were:
Bryce Durcholz-77 (tied for 5th best score overall out of 50 golfers and 1st team all conference)
