The cutest base for a fair cottage birthday cake! 🌸✨

Being a small business and an at home baker definitely comes with its challenges! Today was one of those days, if you are a Cake Wars or Baking Championship fan and you've seen everything possible go wrong with someone's bake day then you're familiar with how my day went!!

I was super proud of this cake but I FORGOT MY CAKE BOX, which put me an hour behind schedule, then on my way to transport the cake my top layer slid 😭 so all of my fondant decorations slid off and looked a complete a MESS. I was devastated! This is the first time I've had a cake completely fail during transport.

Fortunately my girl Savannah Williams was so gracious and kind about it and thinks she'll still be able to make it work!! Praying it is a success for her girl and she has the best party!!! Thankful for understanding and grace and the best customers that will build you up when your cake is falling apart!! 🙌🏻💞✨

I had so much fun with this one!! A 2 tier vanilla cake with a strawberry filling and chocolate frosting.

The 2nd cake ever done by yours truly 🥰 and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to be able to try something new!
