🍩 🩷 Isaac’s!
This morning, we had the privilege to gather at Isaac's Coffee Shop and listen to Isaac’s story through the strong and steady voice of his mother, Jill. Isaac was the one born with “something extra” but Jill is the one who found “something extra” deep within herself to fight for Isaac every step of the way.
At times, there were a few tears this morning. There was also plenty of laughter. Jill’s presentation was honest and raw. The only theatrics were from Isaac. (because he enjoys being the life of the party!) That rawness opened the eyes of our community members who didn’t know the struggles they face and the resources they could benefit from. Even local community members who patronize Isaac’s regularly learned something new today!
When you patronize the coffee shop, you’re met with a smiling face and a warm greeting. You would never know some of the struggles they go through (unless Isaac tells Jill to tell you 😉).
Jill (& Co) have done a wonderful job creating a welcoming, safe environment for community members and giving Isaac a place to socialize and have responsibly. If you get the chance, stop in and support this business! Meet Isaac! Shop the trinkets and goodies! Enjoy a coffee and a pastry! Let’s show Jill and Isaac that we want to help them find ✨A Better Way✨ by starting with something as simple as showing up and supporting their business.
