What a powerful full-circle moment!

This past Sunday, I had the incredible honor of receiving the Good Deed Award from Ju'Coby Pittman, City Councilwoman of District 10, along with the Jacksonville City Council — and I am beyond grateful!
To be recognized by the leader of District 10, a community rich in culture, resilience, and strength, truly means so much to me.

After receiving a Proclamation from our current Mayor in 2025 and another from our former Mayor in 2022, this Good Deed Award hits differently. It reflects the HEART behind the work.
Best Boss of Florida was created to uplift, celebrate, and amplify African American entrepreneurs — and to see that mission acknowledged at the city level is powerful. This award represents every entrepreneur, every nominee, every supporter, and everyone who believes in building economic empowerment right here in Jacksonville.
Councilwoman Pittman, thank you for honoring not just me — but the movement happening through District 10 and beyond.
We will continue to serve.

ATTENTION BEST BOSS AWARD TICKET HOLDERS.
General Admission ticket holders will check-in at the check in desk and provide your name and ID to receive your tickets. Doors open to General Admission ticket holders at 4:40pm

Semi-finalist who confirmed and participated during the voting process will check-in at the General Admission/Semi-Finalist table. Provide your name, yourbusiness name and photo ID. to receive your complimentary ticket. THERE IS NO PLUS ONE UNLESS YOU PURCHADED ADDITIONAL TICKETS FOR YOUR GUEST.

VIP ticket holders, including Semi-Finalists that upgraded your ticket to VIP will check-in at the VIP Entrance. Doors open to VIP ticket holders at 4:20pm.

All special honorees and Semi-Finalists are asked to report to the Auditorium at 4pm for group pictures and procedures.
