I’m back to posting after a few weeks of being MIA 💕
Was trying to soak up summer, be present when I wasn’t in the kitchen , and not be distracted by stress of no one seeing my content 🤪

This weekend I had to put my 9 year old golden retriever down suddenly, and I wasn’t going to post about it because it’s just so sad but I think it helps me talking about her and it just goes to show I’m an actual human being behind this business and not just a robot pumping out cakes every week 😅 I am taking this loss really hard , I got her when I first moved to FL and she never left my side. She’s been with me through family loss, a few apartment moves, she was with me when I met my husband and all the fun stages falling in love entails. Baseball park visits, road trips, beach runs, motocross weekends. She was always there. After Covid and starting my business she was always there, through the crying stress, happy tears celebrating my wins, and laying with me after an exhausting weekend.
Now that she’s gone, it is just empty. And I hate not seeing her or having her close. She depended on me and I just didn’t realize how much I depended on her 🥹❤️‍🩹
I know as time goes on and the world keeps spinning this will hurt a little less and I’ll be comforted by her memories and just knowing she lived a life full of adventures and love. 🥹💕

I appreciate everyone’s thoughtful and sincere messages, they all mean more to me than you know.
